The Heart O\u2019 Wisconsin Genealogical Society has researchers who will do some local research for a small fee. Some examples of local research are finding, scanning and sending an obituary; obtaining information from a city directory; and\/or extracting information from church and school centennial books held at the library.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We ask a donation of $20.00 for a small search. If more is required for your research, an hourly rate of $20.00 plus photocopy expenses would be charged. These fees can be sent via check made out to HOWGS and sent to our P.O. Box 1565, Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54495.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After finding your family member in one of the indexes available on our site, one of our members can make a copy and send to you. Courthouse original vitals have an extra cost.
