11/17/2018 "Five Steps to Get Started Writing Your Family Story"
Presented by HOWGS member Mary Moss

Do you have piles of old documents, pedigree charts, and family facts you want to share with your family and others?
A written family story can be much more interesting to other family members than raw genealogical data, while still incorporating all the details that you have painstakingly gathered over the years.
Mary will offer some tips to get started writing your Family History. Often getting started is the hardest part. The program will be at 9:30 am in the All Purpose Room at McMillan Library, Saturday, November 17th. Join us for the Program.
12/15/2018 "Christmas Party"

Our Christmas Party will be held after the business meeting at 9:30 am Saturday 15th in the All Purpose Room at McMillan Library. We will have a dish to Pass Luncheon to celebrate the Holiday.

02/16/2019 "Your Obit-Don't Let Your Kids Write It"
Presented by HOWGS Members Myra Sweet and Beverly Peaslee.

The program will be at 9:30 in the All Purpose Room at McMillan Library, Saturday, February 16th. Join us for the Program. The business meeting will follow.
03/16/2019 “Use of Land & Vital Records in Genealogy”
This program will be presented by Tiffany Ringer, Register of Deeds.

The program will be at 9:30 am in the All Purpose Room at McMillan Library. Join us for the Program. The business meeting will follow. Visitors are always welcome to join us.
04/20/2019 “Ancestry.com & Family Search - Pros and Cons”
Program will be given by Lori Bessler of the Wisconsin Historical Society.

The program will be at 9:30 am in the All Purpose Room at McMillan Library. The Business meeting will follow. Visitors are welcome to join us.
05/18/2019 “Forums & Message Boards”
The program this month will be by HOWGS member Diantha Neinfeldt.

Diantha will show us how genealogists can use message boards and forums for their family research. The program will start at 9:30 am Saturday the 15th, with business meeting after at McMillan Library in the All Purpose Room.
06/15/2019 "Cemetery Walk"

The program will be a Cemetery Walk yet to be determined.
This will be the last meeting for the year.
08/17/2019 Welcome to the First meeting of the new year.
